I refuse to include the following trio in the main list because, deep down, these guys adore their kids. Even though they used their offspring as an excuse to create a drug empire, verbally abuse people, and also physically abuse them.

Walter White (Breaking Bad)

This 'breaking dad' broke hard when he rose to power as a kingpin within the drug dealing knitting circles. His stated purpose was all in the name of his family, but greed took hold. If you're going to make a meth omelet, you got to break a few eggs, right?

Al Bundy (Married With Children)

Al loathed every second of married life and parenting. But he kept going to work, though he ranted about how bad he had it at every turn. Isn't that a nice gift tie for Father's Day?

Homer Simpson (The Simpsons)

You could say Homer is simply... um... physically affectionate with his son. As dumb as he can be, Homer does almost everything out of a simple love for his family.

He spent almost nine seasons of TV talking to his kids about how he was really, really obsessed with their 'Aunt Robin.' Thanks, Dad. You're a huge creep. Oh yeah, and you talked about all the girls you banged over the years as well. Classy.

Why He's So Awful:

Lord Tywin cares so much about his family that he forgets he actually has one. Two of his kids enjoy each other's company way too much and he just sentenced his youngest child to death. Technically, there is a loophole. He's an okay grandpa.

6. Lt. Col. Wilbur Bull Meechum (The Great Santini)

I think Bull took a game of one-on-one basketball with his son waaaaaaaay too seriously. This is not 'Father of the Year' material.

If you ever wondered why self-proclaimed "Lord of The Idiots" George Constanza is who he is, then look no futher to his father Frank. Loud, paranoid, and self-centrered are a few words that come to mind when thinking about Frank.

Why He's So Awful:

Lord Vader did amputate his son's hand in a lightsaber duel. However, he wanted to do some intergalactic bonding that involved ruling the empire and understanding the dark side.

QUICK NERD QUESTION: If Luke actually decided to join up with his Dad at the end of "The Empire Strikes Back," how awkward would their conversation be.
