“forrests” Seriously?

that IS something, isn’t it? A movie about honor and doing the right thing in the face of possible destruction, pure faith leading them on…a great story. Didn’t need the golf balls rolling at us (pu the mask on, now) and then, my eyes hurt some after.
Course, I’m old, mind you.
I still read books and ‘see’ 3D in my head.
Probably the biggest depression sufferers were similar to the same depression sufferers after Peter Jackson did the lord of the Rings Trilogy.
How many depressed movie houses were there after that, eh? MGM, Fox, Castlerock….
Can’t wait for the dvd, but hope ever so much it won’t be in that stupid 3D then.

I got depressed after the perfection of Wall-E. And Avatar, I found to be, in many ways the spiritual successor to Wall-E. So yeah, I’m gearing up for my depression to hit me any day now.

I think it’s more depressing that one comment led to an entire CNN news story. Way to go legitimate news station. Real good stuff here.

Maybe we need to create a suicide hotline just for the post-Avatar depression. “Avatar depression suicide hotline.”
“Well, I’m about to f**king kill myself.”

They’re depressed because our culture is so vapid that a mediocre movie like Avatar is seen as a stunning artistic achievement.

People are feeling depressed after watching Avatar because everything good about Pandora and Pandora’s people are actual realities of our own world that have long been neglected and beat down. Maybe they should be depressed!
