London's Two Largest Airports Are Fighting Each Other For A New Runway

It is widely acknowledged that for an international transport hub, London has a sad runway deficiency, which often leads to flights circling for inordinate amounts of time. But where should that extra runway be built? Heathrow and Gatwick have very different thoughts on this issue...

This is Heathrow's Official Campaign Slogan. As the UK's largest airport, Heathrow has assumed the mantle of looking out for the interests of Britain as a whole (apparently).

Not as large as Heathrow, London Gatwick has nonetheless decided not to use the 'plucky upstart' approach and instead has opted for a surprise tactic - condescension. Unsubstantiated rumour has it that they originally wanted to use 'London Gatwick, Duhhhhhh' as their main slogan, but decided to tone it down a bit.

Heathrow has decided to go for upbeat messages laced with aggressive subtext.

Do you support creating up to 180,000 jobs and £211 bn economic benefits across the UK? You don't??? What type of Britain-hating masochist ARE you?

4) Gatwick: This Is How We Troll

Meanwhile, Gatwick hasn't even gone for subtle; this is essentially pretty epic trolling of Heathrow.
