I enjoy drinking good beer especially craft beers and if they are local that is a huge plus. Wine is another favorite especially Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian wines. Single malt Scotch has become a favorite dram for evenings as has port. My taste in reading is historical writings i.e. Herodotus, Thucydides, and Caesar, science fiction, and historical fiction. Works by Bernard Cornwell have become a favorite. His Sharpe series and the Saxon series are my particular favorites.
