The snow in NSW has been falling from Goulburn to Katoomba, even reaching as far north as the Queensland border.

The conditions have also caused delays along major highways between Sydney and the Blue Mountains, while some schools in the area will remain closed today.

The Bureau Of Meteorology said Queensland has recorded the most significant snowfall in 30 years with eight centimetres of snow recorded in Stanthorpe and Eukey.
