Matt Weiner’s writers don’t actually “write” episodes? Then how do you explain the 40 page drafts they turn in, with their names on the front? FYI, the WGA doesn’t let showrunners make up writing credits out of whole cloth — you have to actually produce a draft in order to get a “written by” in the final cut.
