This is the new Montreal Children's Hospital. It's beautiful, but unfamiliar to its new residents, who had been moved from the hospital's old building.
Little patients like Jouri Abdulmaola had to be packed up and moved to the new hospital.
Recently, ambulances lined up to move the patients. It was a long process, and tough on the children, many of whom are suffering from serious illnesses.
The hospital decided to do something to help the kids settle in. First, they set up a giant blanket in the new atrium and littered it with stuffed animals.
Children and their families were invited to come down, put on sleeping caps and grab a fuzzy friend.
Then, Maestro Kent Nagano from the Montreal Symphony Orchestra arrived with patient David Saracino, 11. David has Crouzon syndrome and has undergone three major operations on his skull.
The orchestra musicians took a seat. Maestro introduced all the instruments.
And then the music started.
"We thought, why not have them come to the children and play the world's biggest lullaby to help get kids asleep, because it's always weird when you are in a new building," Fraser said.
The kids had never heard lullabies like this before.
But it wasn't just fun for them.
"When you're a kid in the hospital it can be a bit boring," Fraser said. "The kids absolutely loved it."
