Here’s Yet Another Sexualized Breast Cancer Awareness Ad (NSFW)
This is exactly how not to do a breast cancer commercial. It’s not about loving and saving big breasts. It’s about saving lives.
Translation:
“If we love them that much, we should take care of them. Make a woman get a breast exam.”
So, the spot is targeting men. Fine. What do you think the number of male viewers who jerk off to the ad will be compared to the number of male viewers who actually ask a woman to get a breast exam?

Please,finish the commercial and call it for what it really is - soft porn. This is the only way men prefer to view women, and of course only young women. Show them a video of 55 year old grandmother, or a bald 38 year old mother of two dying in a hospital. How about a flash of a single father raising young children on his own. Its called humanity, for fuck sakes. Try it sometime.

RhiRiot 6 months agoI think they are just targeting another demographic to gain awareness. To appeal to all the people out there (I’m assuming horn dog males in this case) who “don’t give a shit bc it hasn’t ever affected them” by appealing to what they actually do care about. It may not be classy, but neither is cancer.

Is there a way to click “fail” but not have it necessarily mean failure of the ad (although it is), but failure of the poster’s approach?
What’s with the misandry? Of all the internet, you think guys are just going to start “jerking off” to this? No one is Pro-breast cancer!
