Mario Balotelli And His Milan Homecoming - The Truth

Mario Balotelli enjoys a heroes welcome on his arrival in Milan, heads straight to celeb hotspot from the airport. A riot ensues outside the restaurant Giannino's whilst he is inside with owner Lorenzo Tonetti and historical leader of the AC Milan Ultras Giancarlo "Il Barone" Capelli. Copa90 caught up with these two infamous Rossoneri fans as part of our "Tutta La Vita" feature on AC Milan.

Mario Balotelli arrives in Milan

Possibly the most talked about player on the planet Mario Balotelli caused hysteria upon his arrival in Milan, this time however it is for his former club Inter's fiercest rivals, the Rossoneri.

In true Mario Balotelli fashion he headed straight from the airport to one of Milan's famous celeb hangout spots Giannino's where he was greeted by hundreds of Milan fans waiting to catch a glimpse of him. Here we see him shaking hands with Giannino Restaurant owner Lorenzo Tonetti.

A new hero has arrived

Outside Giannino's the hysteria hits fever pitch whilst they try to make their way inside, Lorenzo Tonetti still to Mario's right in the picture.

The gang finally make it inside Giannino’s for food, drinks and a catch up while leaving the furore surrounding the bar reaching fever pitch.

The passion explodes as the police arrive

The excitement turns sour when the police arrive to move along the fans gathering outside Giannino’s. Fans fight back with flares against the police and their tear gas, Giancarlo “Il Barone” Capelli is front & centre with the Rossoneri fans.
