You’re a philosophizer. You ponder the big questions in life. Some might assume you’re a loner, but really, you’re just deep in thought, trying to solve the great problems of the world.  
The song has sometimes been interpreted as a veiled protest against the Vietnam War, with its fatalistic but slightly angry mood, and images of a rain that seems impossible to stop. But really, the words could be more universal in their images of mysteries and troubles that seem impossible to solve.

“Who’ll Stop the Rain”

You’re stuck in a rut. Maybe you’ve been in the same job for too long, or you’re dating the wrong person. Either way, you’re trapped in your own, personal Lodi, whatever that may be.  
“Lodi” tells the story of a down-and-out musician stuck in small-town purgatory.   
John Fogerty recalls that the song is about "being a musician - not the happy, glamorous part. Rather, I projected myself ahead maybe 10 years, as a country musician singing that minor hit I had 10 years ago.”

“Lodi”

You’re easy-going, without a care in the world. You let drama slip over you, like the cool waves of the Pacific surf. Your philosophy in life, to quote the great Indian mystic Meher Baba (and Bobby McFerrin) is “Don’t Worry, Be Happy”.  
John Fogerty wrote “Green River” with his favorite childhood vacation spot in mind. Though the song is closely associated with CCR’s “Bayou Rock” sound, the river Fogerty refers to is actually Putah Creek in California. The song conjurs the carefree joys of childhood and seemingly endless, lazy summers.

Written during Vietnam, “Fortunate Son” is a classic example of an anti-war anthem, calling out the politicians and elite members of the country who were in favor of the war, and fiercely patriotic, but never faced any consequences of the war (by serving in the military themselves, or watching their sons go off to war).
