Spanish Artist Caught Dealing With Cocaine in a Car Park in Central London

A Spanish artist, named Lorenzo Belenguer, has been caught red-handed while dealing with what seems to be cocaine in small plastic bags. The location, a conveniently located car park in central London, just minutes away from Oxford Circus, was where Mr Belenguer decided to conduct his business.

In a very surprising manner, a clear message board with the message: We Sell Cocaine Here – Follow The White Rabbit was displayed to facilitate the customers finding his corner to make their purchases.

An initial special offer of just £10 a bag was introduced to open up a new clientele. Customers appreciated the central location. Mrs X, who doesn't want to be named for obvious reasons, said: It's about time that a product in such a high demand is being offered in a central spot. I did my John Lewis shopping, sandwich at Tesco and purchased my little bag; all during my lunch break. Very pleased about it.

I realised there is a huge demand, Belenguer admitted, and it's very open to newcomers, not like Fine Arts, so decided to give it a go. The demand has been phenomenal and I'm now able to pay the London rent and concentrate on my career as an artist.

Munira Mirza, the deputy mayor for education and culture, pointed out in an article in the Evening Standard that something needs to be done before artists and their creative input move to Berlin and other more affordable European cities. London is a at risk of loosing its position as the Arts capital of the world.

Cocaine is a new series of works by Lorenzo Belenguer with the use of white cement and other substances to simulate the appearance of cocaine. The open, and transparent, transaction of the product is a critique of the hypocrisy of saying no in Westminster, but yes in Pimlico. Law makers become law breakers. This double-standard policy means that innocent children, women and men are being killed on a daily basis. The so called War on Drugs has destroyed more lives than any other war. It's clearly not working and a new approach is urgent if we really care. Medium article Why I Make Cocaine https://medium.com/@_belenguer/why-i-make-cocaine-3dc8786ce830
