Holy Crap, Lady Gaga's A** Is Huge

In case you missed it, Lady Gaga has her own app called ARTPOP which "explores Gaga's existence as an interface," according to the iTunes app description. The ARTPOP iPhone app is so big, I was not able to download an update without WiFi. In October last year, the average app size of the iOS app ecosystem was 23 megabytes. Lady Gaga's ARTPOP iPhone app weighs in at 381 megabytes. (Note: the initial release date of ARTPOP is 11 November 2013.)

I don't think there's a better way to describe this app than the one that is provided so I won't try. (OK, this is pretty ridiculous.) As it reads in iTunes:

Lady Gaga brings you a musical and visual engineering system that combines music, art, fashion, and technology with a new interactive worldwide community - "the auras". Altering the human experience, we bring ARTculture into POP in a reverse Warholian expedition. Exploring Gaga's existence as a cultural interface, the user will share in the "adrenaline of fame" as they build and share their own projects, chat with one another, and watch in real-time on a virtual globe as ARTPOP explodes onto the physical and virtual universe at once.

Lady Gaga Is Always An Innovator

There are people who are pushing new limits in how much information we can share simultaneously or transfer in television, online gaming, everything on pewinternet.org--the connected world. If you don't believe in any of the hodgepodge in the last sentence, see why the Motorolans may owe you an apology. (Does anyone else think Motorolans sounds like a bad candy?) Either way, Lady Gaga has proven time and again that she is one of those people who pushes to reach new limits in culture. She's always an innovator.
