    Artist Bill Sussman: NSFW & WTF?

    This is work from artist Bill Sussman. The best way to describe him would be as a dirtier Patrick Nagel in both subject matter and execution. His line qualities and subject matter are similar, yet where Nagel depicts nude and semi nude beautiful women, Sussman puts these women in hardcore and vulgar situations with elements of surrealism. Even Sussman’s color pallets seem dirtier and more aimed at offending aesthetics. I know this might all sound very negative, but I think all of this speaks to Sussman having more of a sense of humor than Nagel. I personally think that he is still growing as an artist, and that we haven’t seen his best work yet.
