In the book, the "revelation" of who the HBP was, is a big reveal at the end. Between that, the cave and Dumbledore getting whacked, that was the best part of HBP. The rest was as boring as crap. In the movie version, it was relegated to a ho-hum moment that should have been great…Â
Movies have to have a beginning, a middle and an end. The books have simply too much detail to make a standard-length movie so some plot elements had to be cut. I get that. What I will never forgive is changing the plot of the books just to make the movie work out all nice and clean.…Â
