Karl Says Goodbye to Governor Rod Blagojevich

Rod Blagojevich was just another dirty politician who got caught. But luckily for those of us in the news media, he was so much more than that - like OJ Simpson, Natalee Holloway, and Terri Schiavo before him, he was someone we could descend upon like a pack of wild jackals. I don't know if it was the cowboy metaphors, the devil-may-care grin, or the voluptuous, silky hair, but something made him stick in our collective conscious for a month or so. This is Karl's tribute to a newsmaker who came and went far too quickly. He'll never forget you, Rod - even if the rest of the world does!
