We brought baby Gilbert home from a shelter in October 2013. In the beginning, he was very timid and shy.
So my daughter gave him Dot, one of her many stuffed animals, to comfort him.
We started to find Dot in various places in the house, sometimes upstairs.
And before long we knew why.
