The Jurassic Coast Is Basically The Real Westeros

    The *real* Jurassic World.

    1. This is England's Jurassic Coast.

    2. It stretches from Dorset to East Devon.

    3. And looks suspiciously like a Game of Thrones set.

    4. I mean, this can't possibly be real, right?

    5. Just look at it.

    6. So. Completely. Gorgeous.

    7. And it's got more than its looks going for it.

    8. The Jurassic Coast is a World Heritage Site.

    9. And is an incredibly valuable geological site.

    10. That also happens to be full of killer beaches.

    11. The area offers a walk through time.

    12. With visible remnants from the past 185 million years of natural history.

    13. Going all the way back to the Triassic period.

    14. It's pretty damn cool.

    15. And sooooo pretty.

    16. One of its most defining landmarks is the Durdle Door.

    17. Which is just completely otherwordly.

    18. But wait...

    19. There's more!

    20. Like the stunning Pulpit Rock.

    21. And the falls at Osmington Mills.

    22. And the surreal Mupe Bay.

    23. Basically the Jurassic Coast is perfect.

    24. I MEAN.

    25. It's got cliffside castles.

    26. Beautiful, rolling countryside.

    27. SO MANY SECRET SWIMMING HOLES.

    28. A stunning view from Clavel Tower.

    29. Perfect spots for scenic fossil hunting.

    30. And plenty of traditional beaches, too.

    31. It's also got Corfe Castle, one of the most captivating ruins in Britain.

    32. And the incredible Seacombe coast.

    33. There are so many lovely views from the coastal path.

    34. Which goes on for days.

    35. And you can't miss a single sight, from Ladram Bay...

    36. To the Old Harry Rocks.

    37. Because the world never looked more beautiful than it does from the Jurassic Coast.
