This Golden Retriever Will Remind You To Stop And Smell The Roses

...or at least eat the treats!

So, the point of the contest seemed to be to get the dogs to run to their owners as fast as they can, despite delicious foods surrounding them.

Some dogs saw this as a challenge, while this golden saw this as an opportunity.

"THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!"

"Holy crap, there's food back here too??"

The judge was a little, well, ~judgey~...

But the golden DGAF because TREATS.

Even when his human came to get him, he was like, "nah, I got this."

"SERIOUSLY, THERE'S SAUSAGE. HOLD ON, LADY."

Finally satisfied, he agreed to comply with his human.

And when he was through, he looked back with pride, "It wasn't a perfect journey but it sure was fun."

And isn't that all any of us want anyways??
