OCD doesn't always look like what you see on TV. It's not just a synonym for "uptight" or "organized" either. It's a complex disorder that affects everyone differently. This is about my experience with purely obsessional OCD, which causes a lot of intrusive thoughts that are tailor-made to upset you as much as possible. Basically it's like living with an internet troll in your head. Before I knew what was going on, I assumed I was a terrible person. Now the troll and I just bicker like an old married couple.
But then, I won't complain too much. Because sometimes you actually manage to get stuck on something good.
(I got a lot of my information about OCD from this website. I recommend it if you want to learn more.)
