This Is A Story About A Boy Named Lucky Levin

Yesterday at 7:50 PM my dog Lucky ran into the street and was hit by oncoming traffic and he didn't make it. The life that he lived, a life that brought so many people so much joy, came to a sudden unexpected and devastating end. He was only five years old. He lived a life full of love and brought joy to many including myself. I will never forget you little buddy.

The day you came home with me to start our adventure together

You already found your place in my bed and made me smile

Sometimes I even think we looked alike

You didn't hesitate to make yourself at home

Chaim Levin

You never hesitated to let us know what you wanted, with your hands.

And then you smiled!

You had very serious things to ponder about in the mornings

You loved chilling on the rug, until you turned it green

This was NOT your thing

But I have to admit, it was kinda funny

I mean yeah, your hair got messed up and stuff

Chaim Levin

But then we got you a REAL haircut and you were suddenly suspicious of everyone

Sometimes you got wired up in things

Chaim Levin

You weren't having it, no matter how clean you were.

And then there was Agnes from down the block (you secretly loved it when she sat on your face)

Because you were allergic to everything and sometimes got ahold of some human food, we had to visit the vet.... But you were so good, and that smile will forgive anything

Seriously, how many dogs do you know that just chill on the Vet's table like that?

When we went to the park everything looked even better...

Your uncle Nachman loved you so much.... He was there when we said goodbye to you last night

You loved me the same way every day. Including on this morning, the morning before you left us for doggy heaven.
