It’s a swimming pool! San Alfonso del Mar resort in Algarrobo, Chile, is home to the world’s largest swimming pool. The 3,324 feet long pool that is set on 19.8 acres can fit up to 6,000 normal sized pools within it.

barbydoc a year agoI’ve been there. The pool is filled with salt water, not your typical chlorine pool water. And the reason they built a big-ass saltwater pool right next to an even bigger-ass saltwater pool is that due to the rocks, waves, and currents most beaches in that region aren’t safe to actually swim in.
