Throughout the years, we've gotten bits and pieces about the mother, and since season 9 has started and we've met the mother, it's easy to say that she is a great character. She gets along with the original characters
and now we see that she really is perfect for Ted.
This episode gave the final season some much needed depth and character development. While it's been fun seeing everyone have their last hoorahs before the wedding and Ted leaves for Chicago, but besides the antics we love seeing the serious moments too. Now that we see how both these characters have gotten to this point in the story, we can't wait to see how they will actually meet and probably see how they keep just missing each other.
