Little nugget of information: the poem's line, "If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster and treat those two impostors just the same" is written on the wall of the players entrance at Wimbledon!

Dickinson had the gift of saying a tremendous amount in a few perfectly succinct words. Her poem about stopping heartbreak uses imagery which is harrowing.
