Don't Let This Two Year Old Turn Into A Human Statue

Meet Sienna. We wanted to film a video of her planting a flower, but she can't. She has a rare disease that turns her muscle to bone.

Our friend’s 2-year-old daughter, Sienna, has a horrible, rare genetic disease called F.O.P. It turns tissue and muscle into bone, and eventually turns people into human statues, imprisoned in their own bone.

So this poor little girl can’t run or skip or jump, or even hold her mom’s hand when they walk. It’s too dangerous, because if she falls, more bone will grow.

If, and when, we raise $1,000,000, doctors at Penn University can do a clinical trial, which they believe will lead to effective treatments in a matter of a few years. This will essentially save Sienna’s life. She will no longer be in danger of a bone growing into her heart, lungs, or brain.
