I am also a graduate of Everest College. I consider it one of the biggest mistakes I have made. It would have cost me MUCH less to went into an RN program at a different school. Unfortunately I was clueless at the time of enrollment then I felt trapped after I found out the credits would not transfer (which was not mentioned at the time of enrollment). I was also told the starting pay was much higher than it actually is in my area. I have been working as a Medical Assistant for almost four years and still do not make close to what I was told would be starting pay. I completed the associates program because I was told it was the only way I could become certified or registered. I now work with Medical Assistants that never attended school that are Registed MA’s. Anytime time I hear someone talking of attending Everest College I warn them away.
