When you heard this song you lay in your bed and looked at the ceiling, wishing you had someone to lie next to and "just forget the world." Instead, your mom probably walked in your room and interrupted your cry session.

This was the type of song that you blasted as loud as you could while you watched yourself cry in the mirror, and then proceeded to cry more at how scary you look. Being a teen was a good time, wasn't it?

YEAH. LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE. This was the perfect song to cry to when you thought about one of your many middle school enemies who had betrayed you.

Thanks to your hormones wreaking havoc on your life, and Adam Levine's eyes, you couldn't help but tear up to this song and wonder if she (you) will be loved.

So this song was totally about losing your virginity, and even though you probably had only grinded to "Low" at this point in your life, it really resonated with you.

This was your shit after hearing it on One Tree Hill. Whenever you needed a little angsty cry sesh, this song was ready and waiting. To this day, you can't get through it without sobbing.

Taking Back Sunday spoke to your emo soul, as you sat in your room wiping your over-lined eyes with a tissue. To this day, "I JUST WANT TO BREAK YOU DOWN SO BADLY" is the lyric that got you through seventh grade.
