We can tell you right now, if you’re going to North America then you’re going to be eating. You’re going to be eating a lot, and it’s going to be happening all the time. Try poutine in Quebec City or Montreal (chips with gravy and cheese curds), and short stack pancakes (or literally anything else) in the USA.

There are also some of the world’s best Chinatowns in North America. Pack your chopsticks and fly in the opposite direction of Asia.

2. They share one of the world’s most epic waterfalls.

Niagara Falls is an absolute dream. Pick your country and experience the magic of the tumbling water from land or by boat. You can even wear an umbrella hat and pretend to be Jim Carrey in ‘Bruce Almighty’. Or not, it’s up to you.

Put it on your bucket list to see it from both sides.

3. Outdoors is the new indoors.

You haven’t crossed the Atlantic Ocean to sit inside. Get outdoors and experience some of the best National Parks in the world. Yosemite and Yellowstone are America’s most popular outdoor playgrounds, and Canada is home to the spectacular mountain towns of Banff, Jasper and Lake Louise in the Rocky Mountains.
