It starts with an attractive woman in her car taking selfies, a sacrament of narcissism. Thirty pictures later she strolls into her early dark home and goes straight to the bathroom. Mind you she is not there to answer natures call or get ready for the day as she just got home. She is there for the mirror and to lust after herself. After taking a few pictures with her skimpy dress still on, she strips down to her undergarment spicing the selfies up a bite. Oh and these pictures are not for her, they are for the world to see by her constant posting to various sites.
Before you role your eyes, she is about to pay the price for her self-gawking. She hears a thud that sounds like something crashing down due to an intruder. After cautiously walking through her living room she comes upon a creepy doll. As creepy as it looks, she seems to make nothing of it and sets it aside to continue the investigation trepidatiously opening kitchen door.
She gazes with hoar to see "f your selfie" written in, what looks like, blood on the door at the opposite side of the room. She takes a moment to review her collection of pictures and see she is not the only one in her selfies. A doll is lying in wait behind her both at the current moment and in the pictures. The doll pries in on its unsuspecting pray. She is misdirected by the sound of a crashing window coming from a different direction. As she views in hoar towards the blast the evil doll swoops in to finish her off and knocks her to the ground never to get up again.
She will have fellow travelers who meet their end due to their narcissism. We see a TV where a news caster tells us of a crisis that has people dropping dead with their phones in hand while taking a selfie. The gentleman has not figured out the lesson to be learned from all of this though. He admits that they do not know why the bodies keep piling up. He does offer wise advice though. People should put down their phones and refrain from taking selfies. However, world leaders seem to be on to something in referring to the problem as #selfieside.
Maybe there is some hope that civilianization will learn the hazards of constantly taking pictures of yourself after all. But atlas, maybe vanity cannot be fixed and narcissist unable to change. In that case a purge would be the best way to liberate the world from the selfie scourge.
