Rose McGowan has published a tweet claiming she was let go by her "wussy acting agent".
The American actress and director says she was fired for speaking up "about the bullshit in Hollywood".

McGowan's publicist declined to comment, telling BuzzFeed "we'll pass on this one for now". Her agents didn't immediately respond when BuzzFeed asked whether they had dropped her as a client.
A week earlier McGowan tweeted a script note which told actresses to wear a "form fitting tank that shows off cleavage".

McGowan confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that the male star mentioned in the tweet was Adam Sandler.
She later added she was "insulted by the instructions to read the script for context".

Meanwhile, McGowan has been busy doing press for her short film Dawn.
The day after McGowan sent out these tweets, her agent Sheila Wenzel left her talent agency Innovative Artist, according to Variety.
