    14 Ignorant Tweets Made About Who Sang 'God Bless America' At The MLB All-Star Baseball Game

    This past Tuesday was the 84th MLB All-Star Baseball Game. In the 7th inning of the game, Brookville's Marc Anthony, of Puerto Rican descent, sang 'God Bless America.' Some fans were not happy about it. Matt Binder, of the Public Shaming Tumblr, covered the story and below are some of the tweets.

    This is Marc Anthony. He has won plenty of Grammys.

    They went straight to the point.

    They also gave him a different nationality.

    Alright, now you're just being ridiculous.

    Does anyone research before they tweet? Anyone?

    And the fans started claiming that an AMERICAN artist should be singing the song.

    And when they were told that he indeed IS AMERICAN, they couldn't handle it.

    But one fan saw the irony of it all...
