New York Shooter Left Terrifying Note

"What I like doing best — killing people."

The convicted killer who shot two firefighters dead on Christmas Eve left a rambling note laced with hatred for his family and his neighbors, police said.

"I still have to get ready to see how much of the neighborhood I can burn down and do what I like doing best — killing people," William Spenger, 62, wrote, according to CNN.

Spengler had served 17 years in prison for manslaughter for killing his grandmother with a hammer in 1980, according to the Associated Press. He shot the firefighters with the same model of semi-automatic rifle used in the Newtown, Connecticut, massacre earlier this month.
