Richard Parker 6 months agoI read the books, and loved them. I saw the first film, and I thought, “Well, now, that’s okay. Fairly low-budget and amateurish acting, but at least it’s sincere.” I didn’t make it through the second film.

I was the opposite — loathed the books for the bad writing and positive portrayal of what was essentially a prolonged stalking crime taking place, but thought with the first movie at least they attempted to smooth out the rough edges. That said, I haven’t seen the rest of the movies, considering the writing just got worst after the first book.

jennyc77 6 months agoI don’t sit there and bash Bieber fans or whatever else is somehow deemed relevant in pop culture, because it’s a time waster. People like to bitch and moan about the whole twilight thing, when they need to realize it was written for teenage girls. It’s not freakin Tolstoy, and it never claimed to be. Fads come and go, and the people bitching about it constantly should really pick their battles. It’s getting really old.

tyty516 6 months agoHaters gonna hate. I mean the films are entertainingly campy but what I love best about the whole franchise is how much people love to hate it. Newsflash folks, if you hate something as much as someone else loves it and spend time badmouthing it then you’re worst than the fans. At least the fans are spending their time on things they like, spending time on things you hate is hella sad.

SitaSky 6 months agoNo one spends as much time hating Twilight as the fans do loving it, that just makes no sense. I’ve never heard of anyone getting a tattoo because they hated twilight or decorating their room because of it. They just mention they don’t like it when it comes up online, totally different. Also, the haters do like some things, I know shocker right? I happen to spend a lot of time on things I like but Twilight is awful so deal with it.

The whole epic fight scene is just a dream/vision by Alice the vampire who can “see” the future. So there, the big finale is mostly a “it didn’t really happen” bit of nothingness. I didn’t watch the movie but read about the “twist” so now you don’t have to waste your time/money on this piece of crap anymore.
