The “Afro-Hipster”
Also known as the “black hipster” or just, “Kyp from TV on the Radio.” Uh-oh, another New York Times puff piece has the bloggers in a tizzy. The article recognizes yet another racial stereotype, “the blipster,” which sounds more like one of those people who makes music with their Gameboy and calls it “art.”
