Dark Tourism
A new phrase that denotes the urge to travel to the dark places of the world. Why take your summer vacation in the South of France when you could visit the Killing Fields, Ground Zero or Auschwitz? Dark tourism (aka grief tourism, aka thanatourism) has lately become a big niche travel market.
