Awkward Friending
Social networks spawn their own brand of social awkwardness, like the embarrassing friend request. Joining a social network means inevitable friend requests from somebody you don’t know/don’t like/don’t want to be associated with. Remember, if you get a request you just can’t in good conscience accept, there’s always the “silent no”.
