The New Yorker’s Obama Cover
Politics Buzz Burning flags, Osama Bin Laden, Turbans, AK-47’s and Obama’s terrorist fist jab are all featured in this sure-to-be-controversial cover of The New Yorker. The artist behind the cartoon said he is trying to satirize the baseless scaremongering used against Obama; That didn’t stop the campaign from calling it “tasteless and offensive.”
