Has the author of this piece never read a single comic book?

OMG, this list is AWFUL!! Almost none of them meet Leave No Trace guidelines. Please, do NOT hang pots and pans from tree trunks! Bears and cougars will eat your garbage and maybe you. I could go on, but clearly the writer, editors, and most of the commentators have never actually been outside without destroying something and don’t care about nature at all.

“Turn into”? He always was. That’s his shtick. Maybe the only change is that people are finally realizing how much of a jerk he is.

This guy is not perpetuating “rape culture.” Members of dating apps routinely share these photos. Her exaggerations and faux victimhood are just silly.

“Mushrooms are nature’s beef”? Huh? Isn’t BEEF nature’s beef?

Is this really just a map of people who came out later in life? A gay New Yorker is more likely to receive love and support than a gay Mississippian. So the guy in New York can marry a man, and they may or may not decide to have children. Meanwhile, the guy in Mississippi probably has to lie, get a girlfriend, accidentally make a baby, then get stuck in an awkward situation. His kids might then follow him to any new (gay) relationships. I can’t imagine any logical reason for the Deep South to have so many gay couples other than the possibility that those kids are from previous closet-case relationships.

Those fathers were probably gay all along… but ignorant people (like you) shamed them into lies and silence. People lie because they’re afraid of retaliation and violence. That much isn’t obvious to you?

It’s gonna take more than a tangential role in one movie to change Tyler Perry’s reputation. Whenever he gets the chance to actually *write* or *direct* a movie, he creates gay characters that are the worst antagonists of the film: liars, murderers, treacherous people filled with hate and malice. They always have AIDS and they always want to spread it to everyone else. Tyler Perry is a disgusting bigot.

The problem with “Smash” is that they won’t just let the show be a show. The entire plot is now an obvious analogy for real life events in the lives of the show’s creators. Every character whines. Every character blames every other character for problems. Stop finger-pointing and write the musical!
