When rock band SO SADLY FUCKED was preparing to release their latest album, the question of which physical format to press was one of the most difficult...

It was a natural conclusion to make custom toys instead of pressing records or CDs for this most underground of underground Portland rock music clubs.

Rock band / Toy Company SO SADLY FUCKED is proud to present, MONSTERS OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD. These vintage one-of-a-kind custom toys will delight the collector of lowbrow art, confuse toy nerds and generally make most people a bit uneasy. This is a very similar feeling most folks get when the listen to SO SADLY FUCKED for the first time.

SSF is a rule breaking, garage rock power trio with a romantic side. And these MONSTERS OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD do break the Golden Rule of toy collecting; "Never remove from the package, customize or harm a vintage toy."

Each figure comes packaged by the artist, includes full album download of We Were Always... SO SADLY FUCKED and an exclusive So Sadly Fucked Music Club button.

The toys are weird and wonderful. But the music is the meat of this sandwich. We Were Always... took 13 years to write and record. This is the follow up to (Self-Titled Debut CD), the first SSF album released in 2000. The band is incredibly proud to offer their work to you.
