There is something inherently annoying about a mother texting her children. All I ever see is someone trying way, way, way too hard to be young and hip.

You missed my point. Even if you do use a lot of your money for good, if you’re still buying solid gold suits or whatever, there’s still more good for you to do. And no, I’m not saying you should dress like a hobo and give all your money away. I’m saying don’t be obnoxious about it. Buy some nice clothes, sure. But there’s no reason to buy the BEST, MOST EXPENSIVE clothes ever just because you can. That money can be put to much better use…
