Karen X. Cheng, the woman behind the "Girl Learns to Dance in a Year" timelapse, and Awesome Baby Name released a video (and website) along with tutorials on how to create your own "Donut Selfie." But what is it?
You start filming a video selfie, and in true Vine fashion, you stop once you get to the side of your head (without the scenery). Start the next shot from the side of your head again, but start swiveling the camera around - in a donut formation - around your head with each consecutive shot.
While this is nothing new to film buffs, it's definitely never been done before in the selfie-verse.
