New Zealand student Rajwinder Singh has received death threats after a photo of him circulated on a missing persons Facebook page.
The image was posted to Missing Persons Christchurch And Canterbury, who accused the 23-year-old of molesting a friend.
The group wrongly believed Singh to be someone else and uploaded the photo along with this:
Speaking to One News NZ Singh said police told him "there was nothing they could do" because the comments were online and not "public."
The page has deleted all posts and apologised, but not before Singh was inundated with threats.
