It's April 1 today, otherwise known as the worst day in the year: April Fools.
Media, brands, and people (sigh), all have their go at "fooling" people.

Never one to miss the boat, the Republic of Nauru's official Twitter account took it upon itself to announce that the Nauru parliament, known by most Australians for its controversial detention centres, was bidding for the 2024 Olympics! lol!
Reminder that Nauru is the small pacific island which houses desperate refugees who try to come to Australia by boat.
