Queensland National Parks has uploaded a series of photos sent to them by a North Queensland local which show the dramatic and insane moment one crocodile decided it would try out cannibalism for a while.
One of the commenters noticed the pale discolouration of the smaller croc and suggested it may have been dead for some time, which Queensland National Parks said is probably right.
And Queensland National Parks also dispelled the myth that crocodile mothers kill their own young.
Regardless, the stunning photos are another example of just how batshit insane Australia can be.
