You wish. Go back and watch the debates between Bush and Gore in the 2000 elections. It blew my mind that Bush even came close to winning after those performances. People were saying the same thing about Cain when he was making dumb mistakes in interviews, but that is not what ended his campaign.

He's not campaigning for president, he's campaigning for the Republican nomination. The most important votes for him are votes from the Republican base, which is largely Christian. The tune will change somewhat if he's actually running against Obama for president.
