During the summer, the Palouse is gorgeous. Unfortunately, the Fall and Spring semesters at WSU tend to be at its non-green state, and it does not look quite like this. Still, go to some of the Buttes like Kamiak Butte and you will see stuff like this. It really is incredible. When the wheat is golden it can look pretty in certain places but most people in the area don't see stuff like this on a regular basis

you obviously missed the point of earth hour. It's to increase global awareness of the issue. Also, emissions from lighting candles is insignificant compared to the billions of lights going out.  Yes, we are so integrated into a globalist culture that we are all taking part in the machine and inadvertently hurting each other / ourselves. But the more awareness, the better chance we have of fighting it. No sane person thinks that an hour of shutting off the lights is going to do anything. It is an act that makes a statement that you are aware there is a problem. The more people that start thinking about it and caring, the more people become interested in the problem. You should probably take a hard look at where you're targeting your anger. Earth hour isn't going to save the world, but it sure as hell isn't hurting us.

there is definitely some good stuff here. Some of The Chemical Brother's best in a while. A movie like this is a perfect medium for them.
