Last night in Boston, New Kids On The Block hosted an album release party at the Orpheum Theater for their first new album in 5 years, "10", which hits stores on April 2nd.

The group performed a collection of both new songs and old at the show, but were surprised mid-way through the show with a present from their fans.

Their fans, affectionately known as "Blockheads", joined together via Twitter to raise money by donations and raffles to place a full page ad in the April 6th, 2013 edition of Billboard Magazine. They received donations from over 1,000 fans in 30 countries to make it a reality. A few fans were brought up on stage and presented each member with framed copies of the ad on behalf of the fan base.

Jonathan Knight took to the microphone first stating, "We've won American Music Awards, we've been... this to me, I'm trying to hold back tears. This to me is the best thing ever in the world. Thank you guys so much!"

Donnie Wahlberg joined the sentiment saying "This is really beyond words. We have something really special guys, I don't mean us up here, I mean all of us." He followed up with some advice for other groups and new artists: "Love your f**king fans!!! Respect your fans. Give back to your fans a piece of what they give to you. As cool as you think you've got it now, if you're lucky enough, all that love may lead to something this f**king cool 25 years later."

While the presentation was going on at the concert, fans at home took to Twitter with profile pictures with a red heart and "#thankyou" written inside of them to show their support from afar and the hashtag "#thankyounkotb" trended in the US and a few other countries.

After the show, New Kids On The Block joined the love on Twitter to express their appreciation to fans:
