No, the Dalai Lama does not support the killing of Bin Laden's. That is taking his words crazily out of context. He said countermeasures should be chosen based on compassion, to deprive the actor (int this case Bin Laden) of the benefits of their bad action. For your action to be better than their bad act, you must act out of compassion for them. Doing something to dissuade Bin Laden from terrorism fits that advice; assassinating him isn't a decision made out of compassion for him. And to Diana R. this was from a speech he gave at USC yesterday.
