In small theatre troupes, everyone is 'on' all the time. Prepare to come to rehearsal and run your scenes, write scripts, sell your show, send emails, create marketing materials. A small theatre troupe has everyone doing a little bit of everything and nobody is off the hook.

Kiss your weekend's goodbye (and your weeknights and your life). Theatre takes time, work, money, blood, sweat and tears. Many up and coming theatre troupes don't have a home base or theatre to rehearse. Your home or apartment may become your rehearsal space.
