9 Ways Being In A Relationship Is Like Going To Law School

Because we all know you probably won't have time for a real relationship.

    1. It is a HUGE commitment of both time and money.

    2. Being scared of commitment makes you rethink law school many times.

    3. Regardless of your fear of commitments, there is still curiosity to see what it will be like, otherwise you might forever wonder “what if”.

    4. It's hard to be sure whether it is “the one” right path for you.

    5. It can be a little awkward at first when sitting in a class and trying to avoid eye contact with the professor.

    6. But now that you've experienced it even a tiny bit, you're head over heels in love with it.

    7. But past the honeymoon phase, resentment is inevitable.

    8. There will be sacrifices made, and sometimes without any benefit.

    9. But you know if you persevere, one day you'll look back and know it was worth it.

BUT unlike relationships, the things you learn will be reasonable at least.

So it is only logical to conclude that since I am in a committed relationship with law school, there is no room to be in a relationship. Unless it is Ryan Gosling, of course.
