    A look at the differences between iPhone 5 and iPhone 6

    In September 2014, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the latest versions of the iPhone, were released. This led to a dramatic drop in the prices of the iPhone 5, which was released a year earlier. It also led Apple to scramble a bit to catch up with the high demand for iPhone 6 devices.

    Some of the features that iPhone fans might like in an iPhone 6 (compared to an iPhone 5s) include its bigger 4.7″ screen, a more focused camera, and the availability of up to 128GB worth of storage space (compared to the 64GB maximum storage for the iPhone 5). The iPhone 6 camera has an improved face detection feature, and is better than an iPhone 5 camera at taking pictures in poorly-lit environments. These and some of the other improvements that were applied to the design of the phone, its hardware, and its software are discussed below.
